What is SnapJamz?

SnapJamz is a user-friendly photo-sharing platform designed specifically for events like weddings, parties, corporate gatherings, and family reunions. It allows event hosts to easily create a private online gallery where guests can upload and view photos using a simple link or QR code, without needing to download an app or create an account.


How is SnapJamz different from other photo-sharing apps?

SnapJamz focuses on simplicity and event-centric sharing. Unlike general cloud storage or social media, it's built for temporary events, providing guests with immediate, hassle-free upload access via QR codes or links. The host maintains control over the gallery, including bulk downloads and photo management, making it ideal for collecting all guest photos in one place without complex permission settings for each guest.


Is SnapJamz free to use?

Yes! SnapJamz offers a free "Member" plan which is perfect for trying out the platform or for very small events. This plan includes the ability to create an event gallery and allows for a certain number of photo uploads. How do I create an event gallery as a host?

It's simple! First, register for a SnapJamz account. Once logged in, you can create a new event by giving it a name. SnapJamz will then instantly generate a unique shareable link and a QR code for your event gallery.


How do guests upload photos to my event?

Guests can upload photos by either scanning the unique QR code you provide for the event or by opening the shareable link in their web browser. No app installation or account creation is required for guests, making it super easy for everyone to contribute.


Can I control who sees the photos in my gallery?

Your event gallery is private and accessible only via the unique link or QR code you share. As the event host, you have full control. Currently, anyone with the link can view and upload, but only you (the owner) can delete photos or download the entire gallery.


Can I download all the photos from my event?

Absolutely! As the event host, you can download all photos from your gallery at once as a convenient .zip file directly to your computer.


What happens after my 30-day paid plan ends?

Our paid plans provide access and photo storage for a 30-day term from the subscription start date. Photos will be scheduled for deletion on day 31. You will receive an email notification when your subscription is cancelled. Please ensure you download your photos before the term ends. You can always resubscribe or choose a new plan if you need more time or have another event.


Do guests need to create an account or download an app?

No, one of the great things about SnapJamz is its simplicity for guests. They do not need to create an account or download any special application to upload photos or view the gallery (if you've shared the link with them).


How is my data and photos secured?

We take data security seriously. The SnapJamz web application is hosted at a SSAE16 SOC-1 Type II, SOC-2 Type II, ISO 27001 - Certified Datacenter. Your photos are private to your event gallery, accessible via the unique link.
